The CCAA has finished the placement of children for the families whose adoption application documents were registered with our office before May 25, 2005.
That is a guarantee that our 5/23 is matched. We had assumed as much, but you can never be completely sure with the CCAA! Also, the stork is in Ohio already!
There is some concern over travel dates. Someone already asked Heidi in the Travel Dept. at CCAI and this is her reply:
Yes, the Trade Fair is held in Guangzhou the last 2 weeks of April and the Chinese holiday is the first week of May. You could still travel the first two weeks of April, if timing permits. Otherwise, the next earliest date you may leave would be around May 4th. China does close down for the entire first week of May for the holiday.

The stork needs a compass! Doesn't it know that Denver is closer to San Francisco than Ohio is????? Now the poor weary bird has to fly BACK west to Colorado!
