sippy cups and self-feeding...oh my!

Well. Little Miss Mae has decided to take over her own meals, thank you very much. It all started on Sunday when she signed "more" over and over, demanding her fill of Mac 'N Cheese. Then the next morning she refused her daily steamed egg...until I put chunks on her tray and she "maneuvered" them into her mouth herself. Noodles were another independent hit last night. And today I tried the box sippy with a straw that worked so well with Sam...and she took right to it and drank about 4 ounces of water. I love those sippys! She was 10 months old yesterday and her newest quest is figuring out the shape sorter...WHY won't the circle fit in the square? So frustrating.
