As told to me by Sam's preschool teacher:

Sam: (screaming wildly just for fun, headfirst into the sensory table, sound echoing like crazy)
Renee: Sam! Sam! (trying to get his attention) Sam! hey Sam!
Sam: (head popping up) What?
Renee: Can you use an inside voice please?
Sam: Why? Is somebody sleeping?
