whoa
When I was in elementary school, reading directions was something I tended to skip. Sadly, this flaw has not left my personality. Tonight I cooked an Ethiopian stew with our CSA turnips, onion, carrots, home-cooked chickpeas and (not local) spices. LOTS of spices. 10 tablespoons in fact, a TBSP of different spices all mixed together into the 'berbere' spice mix. Well. In the directions it clearly states 2 TEASPOONS of this mix. I used it all. All 10 TBSP. Oy. Will I ever learn? Maybe now I will.

So, was it edible? Was it you I was talking about that high school test where the first instruction is "read the test first before starting" and then there are weird things you do like cluck like a duck? I took the test twice, and didn't cluck the second time ;)
