So, why is it that when parents sit down to eat dinner, one or both children completely melt down...resulting in bedtime RIGHT NOW...so that by the time the parents return to their meal, all is cold? *sigh*

So, why is it that when parents sit down to eat dinner, one or both children completely melt down...resulting in bedtime RIGHT NOW...so that by the time the parents return to their meal, all is cold? *sigh*

Just wait, it gets more fun with three!
The first day we tried a "normal" day after returning from China I was in for a rude awakening.
It was a morning in which one kid had to be in school, another in daycare and the third was staying home. I had to be at work, my wife took some time off.
That first breakfast felt like a comedy scene. I kept just spinning plates. I'd put food out for one, the other and the third, and just as I finished I had to start over again thanks to a request from child number 1. It got easier, but that was pretty eye opening.
As for dinner... Good luck!
