Paul made the paper! He may have been disappointed in his time but he was fast enough to be in the paper! They only list the first 2000 runners in each sex (the slowest man of the first 2000 was a sprightly 46:16) so this was way cool! Good job Paul! One of the reasons he was slower than he expected was because he was in a wave that didn't require proof of time. Next year, with these results, he should be able to be in one of the first waves and won't lose time the first 2 miles trying to pass all the slowpokes. (He didn't have proof of time last year because I had just returned from China so he didn't run it.) WOO HOO!

Yippee Paul. I did the Bolder Boulder once and it was no where near that time. It is a fun race. Congrats!
