Popcorn

This local popcorn is AMAZING. We picked up this bag of beautiful red kernels, named Ryder's Red, at Munson Farms while picking our pumpkins. Not only did a 1/2 cup of these delicious kernels fill up a HUGE bowl, but it's delicious! The kids didn't love it, probably because I didn't slather it with fake butter and salt, but I like it. Next time I'm going to try salting the oil itself (a suggestion from the "How to pop popcorn" page...yes, I figured it out!) and see if that can infuse the popcorn with a saltier taste. Anyway, popcorn will be local from now on. YUM.
