1st Grade

Monday was Ted's first day of 1st grade. It was quite uneventful, but wonderful to be back. We met up with Kai and the two boys chatted on the way. Peter was already there and the 3 boys instantly went to the Lego bin and started playing. This morning they were in the gym for morning movement. Kai and Ted stared at the sign for a minute, read "We're in the Gym" and took off. I followed on my way to the office and peeked in, cracking up at the 3 boys (again) rocking out to "Roots and Shoots," a favorite song. He did tell me after school the first day, "Mom, 1st grade is HARD." "Why?" I asked. "Because we did work, like, ALL DAY." I tried not to laugh and agreed that 1st grade is a big deal. Personally, I don't think the 1st graders do much more than the K's, but we'll see. Very cute. More pics on moeltini.
